Angel Hilario - 15in Crochet Blanket

Another one ready for use in the 15 inch blanket series :) Did I mention how much I loved doing this project and that I already have yarn bought for my next round! (fingers crossed for another series this summer!)

Materials
4ply yarn
H hook
Scissors
Yarn needle

ch = chain
sk = skip
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet
sl st = slip stitch

Chain 45

Row 1
Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across, ch 1, turn

Row 2
Sc in each stitch across, ch 2, turn

Row 3
Dc in BACK LOOP of each sc stitch across, ch 1, turn

Row 4
Sc in each stitch across, ch 2, turn

Row 5
Dc in each stitch across, ch 1 turn

Row 6-29
Repeat rows 2 – 5 for pattern

Row 30
Sc in each stitch across

Row 31
Dc in BACK LOOP of each sc stitch across, ch 1, turn

Row 32
Sc in each stitch across (don't cut yarn, continue onto border)

 
BORDER (worked in rounds)
 
Round 1
Ch 3, *sc in sc row along edge of blanket, ch 3, continue from * along edge, sc in corner, #ch 3, sk 2 stitches, sc in next stitch, continue from # across bottom of blanket repeat edge the same as previous edge and top the same as bottom directions. Slip stitch into first ch 3 space

Round 2
Ch 2, 2 hdc in first ch 3 space, 3 hdc in next ch 3 space and in each ch 3 space around blanket, sl st to first ch 2 

Round 3
Ch 1, sc loosely in each stitch around, If you find your corner is tight add in a ch or more sc in each corner stitch.

Finish blanket by weaving in ends
 


This one I sort of just changed colors randomly. I tried to do it every time I hit the back loop only row. This blanket however was made with 3 ply yarn and a g hook which made it smaller. It is perfect for under 18 weeks ;)

This one just two two colors easy peasy

This one was fun to do too! I used a variegated blue then took and added a coordinating navy blue on all of the sc rows :)
