Rae Anne's Blanket - 15in Crochet Blanket

This blanket pattern is written to give you the least amount of ends to work in at the end of the blanket. You can just do it in solid colors or color change your own way. I hate working in ends so when I can just slip stitch or chain them up from the previous rows :)

Poppy's Blanket - 15in Crochet Blanket

The one thing I love about granny square blankets... do you want it smaller? Don't do as many rounds. Bigger? Then do more before moving on to the border :) It's very easily adjustable! This one has a neat twist! You can't really tell where the rounds start and end :)

Here's some other's we've made!

Using 3ply yarn and a G hook you can create a blanket for smaller babies :)

Thank you Danita for this green and pink, I mean yellow and pink, no wait green and pink... lol...(truth is that yarn is indeed green, but it looks like yellow depending on what you have it against).

Emmett's Blanket - 15in Crochet Blanket

This one seems to be a quicker stitch to work up and it gives you a BEAUTIFUL pattern and feel for the blanket.

Here's a few variations!
I did the above with storybrook yarn from AC Moore, which is my new favorite 3ply!

Danita did this lovely blanket! She agrees with how great this stitch is to work up and the ending product!

Here's a few other versions created while testing :)

This one was made by Danita. She added a variegated yarn instead of a solid, such a simple change but it can really change the look of the blanket!
This one was made with lots of color changes. I was trying to branch out of my normal color pallet and mixed some teal in with the pink :)

This one I sort of just changed colors randomly. I tried to do it every time I hit the back loop only row. This blanket however was made with 3 ply yarn and a g hook which made it smaller. It is perfect for under 18 weeks ;)

This one just two two colors easy peasy

This one was fun to do too! I used a variegated blue then took and added a coordinating navy blue on all of the sc rows :)

Charlie's Blanket -- 15in Crochet Blanket

This pattern is simple and easy, it gives your blanket a little more depth than just a straight double crochet and if you alternate colors it makes a fun pattern!

Here are a few more examples of this pattern:

This one actually is only 12 inches which is perfect for under 18 weeks.
It's made using the same exact pattern, but use a g hook, baby yarn and alternated colors every 2 rows instead :)

I LOVE how the lines look just a little wavy and the variegated in this is so pretty. This is made by alternating colors ever TWO rows.

NOTE for the above two blankets do the first row in one color, switch color do two rows and alternate between the two colors every two rows, until last row you will only do one row in last color. (for wavy effect)

2/15/16

JoAnna's Blanket -- 15in Crochet Blanket

Here's another blanket from the 15 inch blanket project :) This one came out a little bigger (more like 16 - 17 inches)

This pattern is sweet for a little girl but I think if you altered the border to just be a DC all the way around it might be nice for a little boy as well :)

As always here are a few more examples of this pattern :)

This one I just messed with the row colors some.
I did have to add an extra row to make the colors even.

Danita did this lovely example, uses the same row color changes as listed in the pattern just done with a variegated and two solids.

This one is done with using three colors, alternating each row with two of the same color about in the center. (Thank you Danita for testing it!)

This one was made using I Love this Yarn - Spun Sugar Spice for the blanket and just a coordinating pink for the border.
